There was a great revival in my hometown in the 1970s. As a result, a handful of people who believed that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, kicked off a church called Evangelical Baptist Church. The gospel of Jesus Christ, however, was preached to me at a bible camp conducted by my church in 1990. John 3:16 was so real to me. I realized I was a sinner who needed a Savior. Then I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. I knew I had eternal life. Should I stay silent with my assurance? I shouldn’t and I didn’t.
My greatest desire is to know more of Jesus and to make Him known to the world, especially to my people. “Here am I, Lord, send me.”
